Camping

Camping Spots are FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. Starting at 3pm on THURSDAY NIGHT!!!

 

A porta potty is provided for your convenience. You can find a dump station at the Sinclair Station in La Veta across from the golf course.

 

All camping and parking areas are full sun exposure. Please leave your pets at home and DO NOT leave pets in the vehicle.

 

We have our fair share of bears, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, and other wildlife. Please do not feed them or leave trash outside your unit.

 

We love our wildlife and would like to keep them around. Please use all caution when encountering wildlife.

 

Fires are not allowed in the campground area, due to drought conditions in the Cuchara Valley. These include charcoal bbq’s, a dugout pit, etc.

Propane canister grills are permitted for cooking food.

 

You may run your generators. However, we encourage you to turn them off by 11 pm. Please enjoy our dark sky; it sure is beautiful. At least we think so.

 

Camp at your own risk. We want to be able to welcome you in the future to enjoy our community. Please follow the rules as set out.
